| Did we just play most of that second half with twelve players and no interchange options. Croft and Bienek went off in the first half, Hawkins (at half time perhaps), Max in the second half as well as RCG.

| RCG situation was interesting. He appeared to be about to come on around the 60 minute mark. Replacing Max perhaps. Eight interchanges used. Max was not in a good way. Out on the wing with the doctors hand on his shoulder whilst Bradford were attacking which could have gone horribly wrong.
I don't know enough about this sport, but if what I saw was a player with a possible head injury (and it may not have been that) not only potentially having to make a tackle (and the doctor jump out of the way) and partially driven (guessing again) because he couldn't have an injury replacement then that would be a very poor look for the sport.

| And for clarity, Max was initially injured near the centre circle whilst London were near the Bradford line. There was quite a gap in time and this was the doctor not a physio on the pitch.
Does Rugby League not allow additional injury replacements, particularly when the player looked very groggy? Rugby Union would I believe.
How does the 18th man "work"? Could Marcus Stock have come on for certain injuries like concussion?
I just don't like in modern times where head injuries are sometimes not acted on quickly (he looked very dazed hence why I think that was the issue). He could stand. Went down on one knee with the doctor, but no sign of any other injury.

| No complaints with the result. Bradford played a much better brand of rugby than I was expecting. They have a number of big units who were very effective like Scurr, Doro, Blake and especially Akinbor but they also played at real speed and threw the ball around well. They were pretty relentless and I thought we matched them for the first 50 minutes but it was obvious they would pull away especially when we on,y had 12 on the field. It’s got to be a worry that RCG, Max, Bienek, Hawkins and Croft didn’t come back onto the field. I too am unsure why Stock couldn’t come on to replace Max. On our individual performances I thought Tindall and Webster Mansfield were excellent. O Bierne’s first half was better than his second but he is a significantly better and more aggressive player than last year. I thought Glare did well as well. I think Meadows has earned his place against expectations in the 17 but I’m struggling to see how he wins MOM. I think Nchambe got through a lot of work but my preference would be Wallis and Tindall on the wings. I think we have a week off next week so gives us a chance to rest a few. Good game, good crowd I thought. I can well believe it was around 2000 although when you see it on the tv it looks like there was less. Overall a good game and just. Reminder that we aren’t quite there yet which I don’t think will hurt and although a home loss it was a good spectacle so I don’t think will hit our positive momentum.

| The 18th man can be activated if 2 players fail HIAs in same game or if a player is injured as a result of foul play as far as i'm aware.
We only had 1 (Croft) as JD said Mad Max had gone to hospital with a chest injury & didn't mention anything else about him.
But to lose Reg, Croft, Bienek & Hawkins by half time & Max within 15 mins of the restart, thought the boys showed great determination.
Agree Bradford played the better rugby & took advantage of the last 20 mins so fair play to them. Still think they might finish in the bottom 3/4 in SL though.
