I suspect the available funds, depending on where we finish this season, will be a key factor. I think the BOD should wait until the season ends, set a budget, advertise and see what who turns up, If Grix gets us in the top five he will be near the top of the list.

My concern is that the present BOD have no Rugby Experience and have never recruited a new Head Coach before. So perhaps they can get someone with good experience to help them?

The BoD, experienced or not must have given some thought to it before parting company with RM.

CS mentioned they wanted to go in a different direction, it would be nice to know but not likely for us to find out beforehand what that is.

My guesstimate would be, see how Grixy goes at least see for a couple of months and then make a more "informed" decision on actual results / feelings then.

If it's looking good why change it, if not then start to advertise.

Personally I think Thorman is a good shout, hopefully would get our backs up and running, something that I think a lot will agree is very much needed.

Baffled as to why people think Thorman is a good shout. He has no experience of been the head coach at a club... 10 games as a caretaker doesn't count.

There is coach out there with a proven track record in this division though.....
