On paper fax look to have the edge . On a flat pitch as well.

Im hoping for a comfortable win. Batley look like a team that will be me worried about relegation than top 6 so a loss to them really would be a worry.

Possibly but really don't think they will be overly worried if they lose. With no Manning, Brown or Bowman they will see it as a chance to give some squad players a run out!

Not sure that I think their squad is that bad, I'd say they're a pretty good mid table team with the ability on their day to put one over on most teams. I think it will be pretty close with a try in it. The score will depend on whether CR has got his kicking boots on. Fax by 6.

I don't think they are awful by any measure just more a reflection of how high the standard in the championship is getting. You could class ourselves, Bradford and Widnes as mid table teams and I dont think Batley are iof similar quality.

Batley were the best side in every department tonight.
Apart from a 10 minute spell after half time our pack were largely out muscled and out enthused and halves largely anonymous as a result with little cohesion in attack with little threat as a result.
Well done the Dogs on a good gusty disciplined performance.

Well we won't be winning the challenge cup this year. Not great that.

I said before once we get outside our best 17 we don't look strong and it showed tonight. We are carrying too many players who would not standout at the next level down. On top of that when the main players do not raise their game to compensate for those players been in the team like we saw tonight then you are going to struggle.

Didn’t like there were too many “first choice” players not playing tonight. Only Worthington from the backs.....
