Nah, Friday night games always bring bigger crowds then Saturday plus with Friday there's the extra rest period. Last year we played hudds away and Leeds at home. Lost 29 28 to hudds then totally ran out of gas against Leeds after being 14-12 up. I think its Daryl's way of doing everything possible to get prep right and make sure his squads right. Don't blame him one bit. Totally understand the fans frustration and whilst I can now attend the Wigan game I'm snookered for the Salford one :\

As i have said before when the dates are printed out unless its something dire they should stick to it, i work shifts 4 over 7 and have to plan a month ahead so once i have requested days off it cant be changed,

Really pee'd off about this. I always look forward to the Cas away fixture every season, but I don't fancy the Friday teatime dash over the M62, then freezing my nads off stood in the open & dark behind the sticks. This will cost Cas in gate money, Wigan always bring a good crowd, but perhaps not on a Friday night in winter

Only the same for us, we have to trapes over the m62 to play you lot on a Friday night. We are doing it to give us the best possible chance of winning both games. The 4 day turnaround is not ideal at all and cost us last year.

Understandable and I don't blame you as it's not a fun time to be travelling the M62 at that time.

No word on this date change from Wigan yet. It was announced on your site last Tuesday. I bought tickets from Wigan on Wednesday and there was no mention of it. The tickets say Sunday quite clearly. The rumour is that Cas were a bit previous announcing it as Wigan hadn't agreed.

Does anyone know any different?

If you pck some sandwiches and a flask set off about lunch time , you should be ok for the kick-off.
