We have a new boss on the programming side of things - he is looking to build on where we had got to with the show, and did a great job with the sports phone ins at real radio wales.

I just don't like the 5pm start on a Sunday since most games don't finish until that time so you might not get as many people listening and phoning in

i hear what you are saying - will be interesting to see how it goes.

Obviously it is straight after the games for the Sunday fixtures - we'll just have to see.

On the other side of it, a lot of folk will be driving home at that time from the match so will be more likely to be listening.

I for one only tend to listen to the radio in the car, and will always turn on a Rugby League show if it's on when I'm driving.

Any chance John Boyd could do a guest presenting spot? Maybe featuring his 'Each Way Bet'.

BBC Radio Leeds won't like it though will they? If they still have the live games on sunday, its going to clash with the last 10/15 mins of the 3.30 kick offs and the post match round up!

I think 5 pm is better though. Listen on the way home rather than later in the night....wouln't want it to collide with dancing on ice!

Also, you could get some match commentary on for fifteen minutes and then cut back to the studio without ever mentioning the score.
