Now is the right time to drop the tarnished Bulls moniker and rename the club back to Bradford Northern and revive the proper Steam Pigs nickname.

I would like to see us play in a “heritage” strip occasionally though. Like a “proper” Northern kit with the city coat of arms rather than the Bulls logo or that daft Boar’s head. The Aussie clubs seem to go for the heritage strip more than clubs over here.

I think this would be a kindly gift to our marketing team. "Hi guys, you know the whole Bull thing with it's myriad of opportunities for merchandise? Well we are getting rid. Instead you've got to somehow invent a whole concept from the word 'Northern'. New mascots etc."
