Going to subscribe this year, am i right in thinking that championship clubs only get paid if they sell so many subscriptions?

If so can you nominate a championship club as your team in order to help them out with reaching their targets?

Would be good if all sl fans that subscribe could do this to boost finances for championship clubs.

If you nominate a club when subscribing that club gets 10 quid apparently

Thought they would get a bit more than that, ie get 500 subscriptions get 20k or something along those lines.

If that's the plan then they don't seem to be making anyone aware of it. I think even the £10 'kickback' is due to end soon if it hasn't already?

Always rumours going around that it will be on virgin. But virgin must have got there fingers burnt good style when Setanta went tits up and of course PS is Setanta under a new name.

There will always be a way to generate a sign up fee from TV channels such as these, they may have to join an affiliate scheme but there will be a way.

It is the 10 quid, thats it, no mention if the clubs will still get any money from the Co oP if you are one of the televised games

Load of bollox, not worth the aggravation and lost revenue

I had and still have Premier Sports!!!!...What happened was that as soon as the NRL season finished i phoned up and told them i wanted to cancel it..That was in in mid October,they said that i would have the transmission up to about November.And guess what i am still receiving the channel!!!!...Well it(NRL) starts again mid March,(along with Championship RL),,so i might as well carry on watching the delights of,,,,Brazilian,,Argentian,,Copa America Footy!!!,,as well as GAA,,,Endless Boxing,the list goes on.......

I'm looking at getting this when the NRL starts again. But how many NRL games do you get a week?

Atleast 5 sometimes 6 live games everyweekend which over course of season is over 150 live games and the coverage is very gd

Do you have to have a Sky box to receive it?
