It's like watching a slow-motion car crash where everyone can see the cliff edge ahead, but there doesn't seem to be any way to stop or turn away.

Grim. Koucash is clearly not capable of running an organisation like a professional sports club, and he also clearly hasn't appointed the staff he needs to keep it functioning despite him.

I've never really know any player to resign from a club, let alone 2 in 1 season. Salford are becoming a laughing stock and it seems the only person blind and deluded to this is Koukash. McDermott is absolutely right that he needs to take full responsibility for the circus that is Salford Red Devils.

This does so much harm to Salford that no decent player will want to sign for the club? The swearing Chairman Koukash has a lot to blame on himself?

According to Fage's representatives, this isn't about money and instead another breach of contract. I'm gonna guess it has something to do with Koukash allowing a transfer request, but then asking for a ridiculous fee so he couldn't leave anyway - and then not even playing him.

Not to sound dramatic but Koukash is holding players against their will at a club they don't want to be involved with anymore - it's very pathetic viewing and it does not bode well for Salford. Who would want to sign for them?

Regarding resigning - I assume Salford won't release his registration without recompense.

So he was happy to take the coin in the first instance to suit himself, now he wants out he throws a paddy because the owner wants to get a decent fee for him...

Depends. If Salford have breached Fages contract then he's a free agent and Salford can't do anything about it.

That's why professionally run clubs don't breach player's contracts.
