Quotepoor lad!="poor lad!"So you're judging Huddersfield's crowds by how many empty seats there are as opposed to how many people are in the ground watching the game?
If Huddersfield played at Wakefield's run down little stadium, would your judgement still be the same?
The relative average crowds between Wakefield and Huddersfield, and relative league positions.
Since Huddersfield were promoted to SL in 2003 they have averaged a higher home crowd than Wakefield in 12 out of 17 seasons and that was including the "Glover years" when it widely thought, even by their own fans that their crowds were being "massaged" somewhat.
In the 17 seasons since Huddersfield won promotion to super league they have also finished higher than Wakefield in 11 of those seasons, reached 2 challenge cup finals and 2 play off semi finals.
Since 1996 Wakefield have accrued 419 points in regular round games, Huddersfield have accrued 498.
Wakefield have won 2 league titles to Huddersfield's 7
Wakefield have won 5 challenge cups, Huddersfield, 6
Wakefield have never won a "double", Huddersfield have done it twice
Wakefield have never won a "treble", Huddersfield have done it twice
Wakefield have never won "all 4 cups", Huddersfield were the second team to do it.
Wakefield have had points deducted twice in the SL era, one for a breach of salary cap, one for going into administration, Huddersfield have never breached the salary cap or gone into administration.
Wakefield's highest SL attendance was 11,00, Huddersfield's is 15,629
So i ask again, how do Wakefield fans have the nerve to mock other clubs and their support, especially Huddersfield?
Are Wakefield fans delusional?
'"
If we had a sugar daddy, a football team to ponce off and a shiny new stadium laid on then we'd be able to press on as a club. Huddersfield have got everything set up for them to be successful but they still draw low crowds. They've also been relegated from SL which Wakey never have.
Wakey have never merged with another team, financially raped them and then binned them off without so much as a farewell.
Same with all these teams that have had Tesco build them a ground or the council stump up for first class facilities. Easy to look down on other clubs that dont have that and have to battle for every penny we can get.
QuoteSteph Curry="Steph Curry"Only because you lied about your stadium lol'"
Hardly, we said we'd improve it and we did. Added the flats and roofs. Not all of us have a cricket club to ponce off and a council to build our ground.
QuoteTigerade="Tigerade"Wakey have been in SL for 22 years and yet out of all the established SL clubs they haven't won anything or been to a final. Hudds had a League Leaders Shield and a Wembley appearance. Even HKR got to Wembley.'"
Yet we still support them, now that's dedication.
It's forty years since our last major final, jeez the Loiners are getting stressy after a couple of years.

And Huddersfield fans still support their club, yet get slaughtered by fans of a club who really have nothing to crow about.
Every club has loyal and dedicated fans, even Trinity, yet Wakefield fans want to take a strange superiority stance and choose to lambast another club for something that they have no right in lambasting.
The game and it's supporter base is dwindling, we should all be trying to help push the game and it's clubs not slagging them off for something beyond their control.

You call it "slagging off", I'd call it banter and as nobody really regards Huddersfield as their local rival, they are probably grateful for the interest.
I still dont really see what your problem is here.
Their game, which was as poor as it gets, was played in front of one man and his dog, even the cow and it's bell were nowhere to be seen, or heard - which is a blessing.
It's an open forum and surely people should be allowed to comment, just as long as it's within the AUP and for someone who doesn't like the comments, you sure as hell are keeping on top of this one.
This thread alone now counts for over 90% of your posts on the forum and you call Trinity fans obsessed

Don't tar all Wakefield fans with the same brush, how many have been doing the lambasting, half a dozen? It's hardly a cross-section.

If I had a pound for every post whining on about the state of B.V. from supporters who are blessed with superb facilities I'd be minted. Strangely one club's supporters are in the vanguard on this matter, can you guess who it is yet?
