| Yes, Aaron Moore to be referee for the Wigan game, if he refs to his usual ability he doesn't need a rule book, he just does as he pleases, Wigan need no help as saints didn't when they were last here, so if your a betting person and/or need some money it will be an easy way for Making some funds with his non sense prevailing ??????

| Glad the lads over came the early decisions, in the end, Wigan were not happy with the ref those last 15 mins especially dragging Walmsley & then losing 4 mins by not stopping the clock whilst he again lost contact on his head mike ! That left 1.50 mins after their last try ! Trin did marvelous & on you tube Caius " Captain chaos". That makes him a tripple C. He was by far the best forward of the two sides. !

| Bashing the ref is such a boring habit. On Friday night I watched one of the best games of my life, and two blokes behind us just shouted back and forth about the ref. Not Walmsley's takes, Fa'atili's carries, Lino's kicking or Johnstone's finishing - just their obsession with getting a penalty. It's so dull. There's so much good stuff happening on the field, just enjoy it.
No ref dislikes Wakefield (or any other club) enough for it to make a big difference to the result of a game. Equally, no ref is perfect and sport isn't always black and white - especially a sport in which so many elements are 50/50. For example, the vast majority of knock-ons are a mixture of loose carry and a defensive hand on the ball. The vast majority of first contacts involve some contact with the attacker's head. The amount of time a defender has to peel off the tackle isn't precise either, it's just the ref's imperfect judgement.
Whether you win or lose a game is almost never up to the ref. It's the collective result of the speed of your defensive line, the quality of your first contact, your wrestle technique, your determination to get onside, the lines you run, how precise your kicks are, your ball security, your decision-making, and of course your discipline. None of that is up to the ref.
Now, can we just enjoy the rugby?

I'm sure we do enjoy the rugby - but I'm also sure you'd agree that there are some questionable decisions given by refs.

| I've seen a few, but I just don't really mind. I've seen far more where fans go ballistic and they're just plain wrong - the one on Friday where the ball bounced onto Field's shin as an example. Or maybe it's part of the fun for some people?

I'm sure we do enjoy the rugby - but I'm also sure you'd agree that there are some questionable decisions given by refs. They get stuff wrong sometimes. Same as everyone else on the field. Most of the time they have a better view than supporters and the VR helps them. It's never about the ref. That one decision is nothing compared to those if the players.
