| Very average first half performance, a replay of the previous match against Castleford. Very little go forward, too much lateral movement from the forwards.
However Cartwright must have torn into the team at halftime, after the break, the forwards ran hard and direct.
For mine, the continual playing of centres in the second row, is beginning to take its toll, hardly surprising with the likes of 3 out of the 4, 2nd rowers, chosen at the start of the season, managing 3.5 games between them all season. ( Cartwright 3.5, Staveley 0, Holmes 0)
I thought Fash at 13 brought more cohesion in attack.Eseh again outstanding, Hardaker 'Mr Perpetual Motion ', Ese Ese, Knight were less effective, . Bourouh & Aydin work hard without the ball, but with the ball, aren't very effective. Sezer & Cust played brilliantly.
I thought our wingers were good, however I thought Rapana had another below average game, his defence is poor, his pace is declining, and he's committing too many basic errors, for an experienced international marquee player, in my opinion, questions should be asked, if he should be released in the close season, the same applies to Jed Cartwright, IF he can return, before the end of this season.
