In the great scheme of things, yes I think it does .The one place in Salford I would have expected to fly the flag for the City Of Salford is the new stadium, obviously I`m completly out of touch with modern times and modern ways of thinking.

It's nowt to do with them either. All the addresses in Salford outside of the centre have Manchester in their address. I grew up in Irlam which is Irlam, Manchester, M44....
I now live in Swinton which is Swinton, Manchester, M27.....
And so on. Even the Council uses Manchester in the address for Council Tax and used to when there were such things as council houses |
