as a shift worker Friday night games are bad news (work 1-icon_cool.gif
but Monday night(2-10) is worst
also one of the reasons we play on Friday night was to make it 7 days between games
if you play on a monday (sky game no easy games) and back it up with another game 4 days later
not good for the team

And would the club turn down the money generated from the TV appearance?

I'd be delighted for SL to be shown on a Monday night during the football closed season - Monday's a dead night for me and mine, so I pretty much always end up watching Monday Night Football, regardless of who's on.
Once the football season ends Mondays are even duller than normal. Live SL on TV would certainly brighten them up! Might even manage to get some football fans who are missing their Monday night fox interested???
Not sure how much it would affect clubs and fans involved though? Can't imagine it'd bother us too often as we only average 2 TV appearances per season?!

MR the club don't get any money generated by the tv appearance. We get a one off payment no matter how many times we are shown over the season. All the clubs do.
