The magic weekend is a great spectacle and great event.
The only change that would appeal to me personally would be a 9's tournament, but even that has its drawbacks.
Or instead of the RFL picking who plays who so it's the virtually the same every year teams against each other, it should be a draw like in the cup so it's random.
Playing Newcastle Vikings in the same colours as their local rivals isn't going to help. Why don't we do something to try and attract a share of the local support?
Or if Widnes are going to be wearing the black and white of Newcastle why don't Salford go all 'WWE heel' and wear a Sunderland-esque red and white striped kit.
