i was planning on taking a small backpack in with us with some butties and bottles of water.
Looking on the wembley webiste they seem to be banning not only dangerous items like weapons and flares but items they want to sell you inside like softdrinks and food.

Can anybody who's been wembley resently advise weather i'm likely to get water and sarnies taken off us.

You can't take food and drink into any grounds. You can't [ieven[/i take bottles of fruit shoot into the HJ.

I thought you could take bottles into the HJ if they've got no lids on?

I've not been to the new Wembley but at the old place I was stopped and had things confiscated nearly everytime I went.

Perhaps I could sneak in two mini scotch eggs in my breeches?
