You do not have a kicker capable in your team to kick from that distance! you should blame your manager for not kicking for the corner and try to score a try Lets hope you don't start next season by losing 10 out of your last 15 games like this season or as Phil Clarke said you will get relegated next season if you lose so many games

The error would have been to try and kick for touch. More than likely we would have turned the ball over during that set of tackles and we would all be cursing how we let an easy option to take it to golden point go away.

Anyway what happened to that debate about "we need a kicker"...

Jesus Christ, really? It was pathetically negative, no hindsight needed.

And Ratchford has developed into a great kicker. Obvious that the halfway life isn't his range.

This issue lies with Price and his negative tactics, every opportunity to take the two we go for it rather then going with the momentum of the game. I’m for going for the 2 at the right time e.g. the scores at 0-0 at the start of a game. However, given the fact we needed to WIN the game with 7 minutes to play, we should of taken ‘the bull by the horns’ and tried to notch a try.

Was it the wrong decision or just a poor kick? IMO a professional player who has kicking duties should be able to at least get the ball dead from there. That was the real mistake. I've seen Ratchford put kick offs out on the full on that pitch, so to not even reach the in goal was some error. Kick it relatively quickly to save the clock and get it dead. Thought there was some quality Dick Dastardly and Mutley going on there too with Hill trying to distract Kendall and Ratchford sing and trying to pinch a few metres.

It was a very poor kick, at least 10 yards short.

Very poor decision. I didn't have any faith in Ratch having the range for that one, the coach should be well aware of this too. Negative and defeatist decision

Ludicrous decision going for the two from there....a 15 yard kick into touch and an attacking set from 35 out with our fluid playing style was the way to go.

I'd have almost forgiven them for cocking that up rather than a pop at goal that didn't even reach and I'm not blaming Ratchford, the buck stops with the coach and they certainly took their time about it.
