I think you have hit the nail on the head. Powell purged and replaced with lesser quality players. The turnaround that Willie Peters and the Hull KR leadership have delivered is quite remarkable and gives me hope that *one day* we can emulate it. 

But, in reality, I don't think our CEO is that interested in the RL performance of our club going off this.

Because that’s exactly what this is.
Not accepting the status quo and if people think we are brash or we over step the mark! So what.
Our approach is not solely for the purpose of Warrington Wolves. This fight is on behalf of the northern working class, the backbone of our sport.
So yeah, we need to be a bit Don King (as Richard Ashcroft says).
Big coat. Big energy. Big f***ing noise.
Because vanilla doesn’t cut through anymore.
And if that rubs a few people up the wrong way?
Good. That means they noticed.

Most people who post regularly on linkedin end up coming across as knobs. 

But if club staff and players think he's a figure of cringe it is a problem. In any organisation the worst thing for any leader is to be thought of as a bit of a joke. They do all the motivational stuff thinking they are Al Pacino in Any Given Sunday and everybody politely nods their heads and tries to keep a straight face. 


We've all seen these kind of people high up in an organisation. Drunk on their own hype and completely lacking self-awareness as to how they are perceived by their staff.


Maybe everybody at the club buys in and is behind him but honestly reading that linkedin stuff it fits with his general persona and I fear the worst. 


Can you imagine Andy Gatcliffe coming out with any of that stuff. He was a serious figure who brought gravitas and credibility to the role. 

We lose on Saturday and the season is over - can’t say I fancy us either 

Sooooo that’s what the earring is for, to look cool with the kids.
