Wires71:
Super League x Fashion
It’s not enough to just watch the culture move, you’ve got to be in it. Immersed. Connected. Reacting in real-time.
That’s exactly what our creative retail team and brilliant kit partners O'Neills Sportswear UK did today diving into Manchester’s streetwear scene to soak up inspiration for our next street wear range.
But here’s the truth: this isn’t just about shifting shirts. This is about positioning. About brand equity.
Because your wardrobe isn’t just stuff - it’s how you express taste, attitude, and identity.

Showed this Richard Ashcroft clip in our weekly Marketing meeting today.
“This thing’s a fight.”
Because that’s exactly what this is.
Not accepting the status quo and if people think we are brash or we over step the mark! So what.
Our approach is not solely for the purpose of Warrington Wolves. This fight is on behalf of the northern working class, the backbone of our sport.
So yeah, we need to be a bit Don King (as Richard Ashcroft says).
Big coat. Big energy. Big f***ing noise.
Because vanilla doesn’t cut through anymore.
And if that rubs a few people up the wrong way?
Good. That means they noticed.

I thought this was a parody on the part of Wires71, and a very amusing one at that in all it's boardroom cliched, banal glory.
But its not. Now I'm hoping our beloved CEO is a fan of irony, or Monty Python. If that's how he prattles on then we're in deeper doo-doo than I thought.
Utterly nonsensical, meaningless, vacuous drivel with not a syllable of sense in it. If he sat in front of me at a meeting and came out with that I'd be unable to resist the urge to beat him to death with his "Worlds Best CEO" travel mug.
I need a drink.
