The Watcher may be behind the times a bit on this one as he as been away but he has heard that the New SL sponsors after Engage finish will be Eddie Stobart providing Widnes get a franchise, also involved in this deal is Asda the possible new Widnes sponsors.

Not heard the ASDA one but The Stobart one was mentioned to me a few months ago.

Id be amazed if Asda sponsor SL, the obvious link is to the Rhinos but cant see them sponsoring anyone in current climates.

Asda will sponsor Widnes & Eddie will get lots of transportation work from Asda. All very neat & tidy.

I wouldnt a penny on either of the above mate, the local Widnes store might sponsor Widnes but Asda Walmart sponsoring Widnes???

I am so biting my tongue at the Stobart information at the top. The only reason is, I am now bored with the subject of Widnes.
