Getting the train down from Edinburgh at 18.12 on Saturday, should be checked in at my hotel by 10.

Keeping well away from Wiggin, even on Monday we're getting the train back to Bolton!

If you're changing at Preston anyway then you might as well see if you can get a train to Blackpool South which is only a couple of minutes walk away from South Shore Travelodge (if that's the one you've booked in to) rather than a two mile hike down the prom.

Hope the pit stop goes better than Mr Button's on Sunday .
