Think Bristol are the frontrunners, and I was impressed with the set up at Coventry when I went there in the summer. I think it's inevitable that they get [isome[/i allowances for a year or two until they're able to build their own player base, but I certainly think there is a happy medium between the existing rules and those well and truly flouted by (Celtic) Crusaders.

It's nice to see other clubs that are being run the right way getting rewarded with the opportunity to play C1 rugby

When you see how Skolars & Gateshead are seasonally dominated it's probably some good competition for them both now well initially

For what it's worth, Skolars have won more league games this season than Hunslet, Dewsbury, Toulouse, while Crusaders, Harlequins and Wakefield have all only won one more game despite having six more fixtures.

true but Gateshead haven't won a single league game this season so there'll be happy for someone to compete against
