Are we to be a sky game or not at all ?

Wig v Stains and Cats v Wire are the games according to the Wigan forum !

I`m hoping we `re not televised.....We don`t want the Whinos to be humiliated nationally do we...

Sky have both slots on their schedule 8pm Friday & 5.30 Sunday but haven't selected the games yet.

I fancy we'll be the Friday game on Sky. Considering the alternatives are being on council telly and/or clashing with the last day of the Premier League season, I consider that a win.

Key that we appear on TV to get the money - but Friday night might be good for Leigh fans to attend. If on Sky less will be tempted/able to stay at home at watch it. We might get fewer Leeds fans on a Friday night though..

Yep. We are on Sky next Fri at 8.

Not a Friday Evening fan personally, but deffo the better option than share with the last day of the prem. All gonna be a bit mad at the club having not much more than a week to sort the corporate/advertising - lets hope the fans back em at the turnstiles.

The day is errelevent to me but should we be asking semi pro players to play against one of the strongest teams in the CC on a sunday and then ask them to go out the following friday and play against arguably the best team in SL ?,or is that an over reaction?

Ah well c'est la vie as we say here in the posh part of Salford.

Despite Leeds being overwhelming favourites' because of that' I doubt they will bring as many as we would have taken to the crumbling stadium'place where they play.

We would have taken more to Saints Wire or Pieland than they will bring here and that will be seen a week on Friday' ' and' all RL fans in this country know it.

For a supposedly big club I doubt they will bring many to our state of the art stadium.

Tight miserable smug beggars. Lets hope they prove me wrong but no point in opening the South and East stands for their small bunch of supporters.
