| Quote mr. chairman="mr. chairman"very good season , no excuses . paul had all the help to get job done hope derek doesn't exceed salary cap as he as said and put the club in danger . pauls plan must be to involve the youngsters and get back to building this club slowly instead of the boom and bust way of doing things what happened to the lets keep it simple idea of not getting into debt and building the team within the financial plan.i tell you what leigh have missed andy mazy . derek as put his hard earned money on the table but suffered in other areas were andy thrived .you can't alienate people like andy and trevor Barton they are people who knock and open the right doors not knock them down and rush in .
I have seen a shift back to the bad old days when amateur clubs stopped being involved . I like derek he is a generous man but needs people with him to say stop andy mazy in my opinion did this , trevor opened the doors especially with the lsv and council. you can't buy that sort of support .micky high am should be involved with the coaching set up good attitude and a sane person . give the kids a chance and get andy and trevor back on board and hope the faithful fans still have leigh in there hearts'"
Keith ,I couldn't agree more  I've been saying since he left how much we miss Andy Mazey,and as for Trevor B again he had so much input to the Club, I have been privileged to call them BOTH friends and would do anything to get them back on board at Leigh Centurions. |

Attendances this season, have been double what they were the season before last. Surely, that's moving in the right direction? Obviously yours have been higher than ours, given that you were coming off the back of several seasons in SL.
The trick for us is to at least maintain the current level of crowd support and build on it next season. That might be somewhat difficult, given the torture of the Qualifiers. |

10 years ago the Bulls were winning SL, how the mighty have fallen when they are doing the conga after beating "little old" Leigh for the first time this year after 3 matches played!!

I've been saying since he left how much we miss Andy Mazey,and as for Trevor B again he had so much input to the Club, I have been privileged to call them BOTH friends and would do anything to get them back on board at Leigh Centurions.
