Massive game and there is nothing to tell me that we couldnt sneak this one.

We have a good record v Salford. Fev gave Hull too much respect first 20. If we hold our own, we can come good.

We are on a good roll and need to come out of the game with our heads held high. the Challenge cup should not be treated as a distraction. If it was, we should have lost to Batley.

Good luck Leythers and do the Town proud. No injuries and no bans please (because I can see a few coming Featherstones way !)

I’ll be tuning in for this one but I hope our players have watched and learned from the Fev game. We cannot afford to come away from this game with potential bans. We need to compete by being physical yet legal, as error free as possible and by not giving away penalties. We also need to take Salford on when we get the chance.
If we can complete sets and defend at our best we can win this one.

Good first half. Take away some very dodgy calls from the ref and we could be more in front.
Keep tackling, keep the penalty count down and we have a very good chance of being in the bag. Big knocks from Higham and Hanson. Go old boys

Excellent result. Very pleased. Salford really had nothing without Lui and, if that's what the 8s could offer, I really hope we get there.

A very well controlled performance tonight. Especially impressed with our second half. Kept the pressure up without giving away silly penalties. Great result for the clubs confidence and keeps the winning mentality. Play that rugby next week and we have nothing to fear.

And what a contrast to the grubfest that last night's game degenerated into. An excellent advert for the Championship.
