That was a late change as was playoffs last time I looked.6 pointless games for Fev and Leigh then, only one that matters is when they play each other.

As I’ve said before with the 8s setup, the middle works the other two not so much. Thankfully we are in a contest that will build some interest, at least for the first 4 games, results dependent.
The only good thing here is that even though it’s going to be a Leigh Fev final you still need to turn up each week to try and ensure you get the home advantage.

Is it, Atomic? Is there any monetary gain with winning this comp?
As I said in a previous post, barring a wealthy man replacing Mr Beaumont not many of those player's being as they are Full Time rugby league players will most likely be running around the LSV for a Part Time club next season, would it not be better to offload as many as they can possibly do so, stating now, for no fee just to get them off the wage bill?
It may be harsh to do so, but it would be common sense to do it. |
