The signing of Littler is a great one for the club and will strengthen the team considerably. However the problem we had for everyone to see last season was pace and Stu isn't going to address this problem. We have Nanyn in the centre he will do as he did las season score points, whether he lets them in is something he and Basil will have to work on. On one wing will have the improved Maden but he lacks pace and was shown up last season. Adam Higson for me is a forward but was our fastest back last season does he play in the other centre with Littler in the back row? If Blythe returns where does he play? If we are signing a winger with pace then thats only really a one position improvement. So where can we improve pace elsewhere in the side?

I'd be quite happy with Nanyn and Blyth as our centres and a couple of rapid wingers outside them, to be honest. Mind you, with the amount of injuries we had last season I wouldn't be surprised to see players switching positions every other week.

Higson's a full back all day for me. Two rapid wingers and Blythe now and our squad looks dangerous. Littler in the second row, maybe even loose forward.

Except Sundays and Thursday nights IMO

Donlan is a great full back so it would be a waste to play AJ there when he imo should be in the centre.

I agree, Donlan should be the first name down on our team sheets at full back. Still think Higson's a full back though.
