Couldn't think of any other site to post this so wonder if anyone can help me.
We're doing our usual challenge cup final weekend staying in Covent garden, we need some ideas for nights out for 40 something's, done the Camden, Kings road, Shoreditch, Islington, nights out, can anyone suggest Shoreditch/Camden type places that we could try? Not into nightclubs as such but we do like a late beer or two.

Ealing used to be a decent night out but have not been there for a while

Someone on another thread mentioned Hoxton.

Hoxton is part of Shoredich. There are a few half decent pubs around London Bridge/ Borough High Street

Why not stay in Covent Garden? There is absolutely everything on your doorstep for a night out I can't think of a better place to be on a Saturday. It'll be packed being right in the middle of the West End though.

There are some nice pubs in Hampstead, just up the northern line from the west end. Then when it gets dark you could go for a stroll on the Heath and make some new friends...
