Hi Guys

Just doing a bit of planning for our trip to Ealing in July. I can see the closest station is Castle Bar Park. TFL website tells me to get a train from Paddington but GWR website tells me there's no trains on a sunday! What's the best station to use coming from the centre of London?

Ealing Broadway and 15/20min walk or bus (E10 I think?)

E2, E9, E10 and 297, bus about every 5-10mins all drop you off at the end of the Vallis Road, 2 minute walk to ground.

Whats the best way to get there on a Sunday by train? Was thinking of coming to the Bulls game on the bank holiday weekend

Ealing Broadway. Overground and Tube, frequent services.
Forget about any branch lines.

How far is Perivale underground station? Is it walkable?

Believe its walkable, but have never done it!

Just looked at routes, Direct line from Reading to Ealing Broadway which is handy.

Are there some decent pubs near the train st at Ealing and equally on route to the ground?

Their are some decent pubs in town, not a lot on route to the ground as far as i am aware but some folk may say different

Dont think there is anything on the way. Drink in Ealing then dive onto bus to ground

The Duke of Kent on Scotch Common is closest pub to the ground. It's a Fullers pub with a large beer garden which a number meet in. Even has a Pimms Bar! Another pub nearby is the Village Inn on Pitshanger Lane. Maybe twice the distance the DoK is from the ground but not been in there. Both serve food.

Not been on a bus since I was 4!
