The logical choice is Deacon assuming he resigns and then plays each and every week, after all he's a very accomplished kicker. But were he not to play who would be the next to step up and kick?

I hope Deacon does sign and It would make a lot of sense if he did with Tommy probably being used at 9 . so on saying that I would think deacs would kick but there needs to be someone else spending time with a kicking tee practicing as it would do no harm to have someone else to kick . thinking back when Pat started Kicking wasn't it a choice between him and tommy and he took up the responsibility , surely Tommy can still launch one ?

I seem to recall Finch is a pretty experienced kicker, may be wrong.

Pretty sure that Finch has not kicked goals in past. If Deacon not in team then Roberts would be next best bet (assumimg he is playing of course!).

Cam Smith will be taking the kicking duties.

Personally I think it will be Sam. If we sign a Hooker before the start of the season I can't see Deacon getting a place in the side. If we don't then I still think Deacon will have more of an impact role with the arrival of Finch so won't be on the field all the time.

I think Sam is the logical choice with a bit of off-season experience of course to improve on his dire attempt at the GF.
