Just wondered if anything was said on Sky tonight about the seriousness of the injury?

To have him & Farrell out would be huge.

On Cust, head coach Peet said: “He’s injured his arm. He’ll need a scan, an x-ray. He could be (back this season).”

On Farrell, Peet added: “He’s got a grade one ACL and grade one MCL. He’ll be touch and go.”

Shouldn't have played him, wasn't worth the risk, Cust is a bit injury prone and wasn't worth risking in a nothing game.

How can Faz be touch and go with an ACL and MCL injury?

It means if you 'touch' Fazs knee he 'goes' to hospital.

I would have had Tommy starting in the playoffs anyway.

Sky mentioned that Brooks doesn’t think it’s too serious so fingers crossed he should be ok.

Easy to say, with 20/20 hindsight. We played a full-strength side, with a week off to follow. Good job we have Tommy available.

I'd have rested any players not leaving at seasons end eg Field and Cust for starters.

Thanks - was just looking it up. Sounds like a tough call coming up. Obviously he'd need to get mobility back in time but may come down to whether or not there'd be any additional risk of more severe injury.

Fingers crossed on Cust and Farrell. It sounds more promising on Farrell then initial rumours. He looked no chance looking at him post game but presumably it’s the leg brace making him look worse than he is. He looked like prime Forest Gump shuffling around but maybe like Forest, he’ll go from that time to sprinting in no time.
