You cant blame the ref;, blame Marchy he coaches like he plays giving penalty's away get rid your a better team without him.

Any one blaming the ref really isnt seeing the bigger picture.

Infact the ref had a very good game. That certainly cannot be said about a few players.

The ref was good for both teams tonight, we lost fair and square and in very poor style

I thought he did fine until the March incident.

We played well for 25 mins and then let it slip, mainly down to our DR fullback, I would have had Duffy as fullback as he is reliable, dependable, a go forward player and lives and breathes Keighley, however if he was unavailable then so be it.

Fev play a mean game, they use their forwards for real solid hits until your forwards tire then work the ball well to play some fantastic entertaining rugby.

We conceded 26 points in each half away to Fev, compare that with the past couple of seasons away games to Fev.

Last week we lost at home to Leigh by a slightly lesser margin, anyone want to compare the scoreline to the fev game?

The March incident occured right in front of me, March got flattened, wasn't allowed to get up to play the ball then a second Fev player decided to flop on the already completed tackle again Marchy couldnt get up, after what seemed like eternity he regained his feet but the Fev players leg was trapped under marchys arm, the ref then decided it was marchys fault for trapping the players leg and gave Fev a penalty, Marchy then said something to the ref and was given a red, all this less than one minute from time when we were in a good position to score.

I for one don't blame Marchy for losing his cool

The real fans were at the game, the real fans are going to home games, this forum is for debate, accepted but it seems it's more about moaning about the club than supporting it

Starving the club of your money to prove a point will only end up with us having no club at all, then I suppose it will have been the clubs fault!

REAL FANS pmsl, I back this club just as much as a REAL FAN but I aren't about to come on here burry my head in the sand and say Marchy is doing a great job and our performances are improving. That just isn't me. This forum is for anyone to voice their opinions about anything to do with the club, I applaud you and everyone else who made trip but for 2 reasons I wasn't going and that is I pay for premier sports so why go if it had been televised at home I would have gone and secondly I wasn't waisting my hard earned cash to travel to fev to watch what I only describe as shambolic and embarrassing. Starving the club of money, not showing support to the club well that's not me but to be honest I don't blame anyone that has turned there back on the place because to be honest do you feel wanted or valued by the club as a supporter because if you do you must be the only one.

Out of interest do you think we should be beating York and barrow coming up or is this all part and parcel of giving Marchy time and a chance to improve. How much longer will you continue to support Marchy before your patience wears thin???

As you will have seen on another post I have openly invited Gary Fawcett to put something out there for us all to read on how the club is doing and plans for the rest of the season, it's not demanding or holding anyone to ransom just genuine questions that every other club keeps their fans up to date with. He will see it as he regularly looks on here that I know. So lets see how much we are valued by OUR CLUB now.

The team is going through an injury crises, you can not seriously expect them to play as if the full first 17 were out on the field. People aren't happy

This has been addressed by bringing in DR reg players. People aren't happy

As Guess Who rightly pointed out on another thread, would a different coach under the fact existing conditions be able to have the team play any better? I doubt it very much.

Under JD we lost games to London, South Wales and others with a full first 17 that included some top names that we should have walked. As I said we also lost more convincingly at Fev away twice too, any comment on that?

Put that into perspective,

When was our last won competitive game? Well before the end of last season
When was the last time we actually gave a team a real thumping? Workington promotion win
Are we playing the same team's as last season? No, we are playing against the feeder clubs with top names from Sl
We have Cas, just! They are not a top 6 Sl team so their fringe players are not head and shoulders above championship players as other DR SL players are.
To top it off let me remind you of the injury crises we have again

This forum makes me laugh. People come on here and spout the usual tosh about true, loyal fans etc. If you feel the need to come on here in an attempt to convince people you are a "true fans" you need to look at yourself.

In some peoples eyes I'm not a true fans because I wasn't there last night. Instead, I took my 2 girls to their swimming lessons! I also don't make 90% of the noise so again, I'm not worthy of fan status. I don't spend a huge amount behind the bar so again I'm not supporting the club enough. After watching a game for 80 minutes my girls are ready for off so I go home as oppose to going to the bar. I must be a terrible fan!

However, what I find really laughable is the people making these comments are hardly whiter than white. Harry Hill if I'm not mistaken talked about watching the Giants rather than the Cougars a season or two back because the Cougars were going through a bad run of form.

Harry is right though, being a fan will mean supporting the club through thick and thin but this is a forum and people should feel able to voice their opinion. However, that being said when I see people posting on here minutes after the final whistle it does make me wonder. It appears to me that people cannot wait to get behind their keyboard and make comment.

I can't understand all this issue with March's red card. It looked harsh but must have been for something he said to the ref. JD was lucky a few times over the last two seasons not to walk for some of his actions, but people seemed to accept that.

We've been here before, we'll be here again - but so will you. Rugby in general is on it's uppers, DR is a complete nonsense.
