I was watching updates on Twitter last night and I'm thinking to myself this is a pointless exercise.
Why wouldn't we play any first teamers that won't be playing on Sunday.
Surely at this point of the season it's about giving players game time, match fitness and to give the young hopefuls someone who can talk to them plus guide them round the field and stop these kind of scorelines happening.
With the likes of Wigan up next for them they might want to play on field behind the stand because that could be a cricket score.
Reserve fixtures in my mind is to stop the likes of dual reg creeping into our league and giving first team players a run or somewhere to find there feet when recovering from injury.
Also worth noting though that our lot never gave in despite the scoreline and they were playing a Halifax side which featured 12 players who have played first team for Fax in the Championship and The Qualifiers since the start of 2017.
