Thats it, thats all! What do people need to commit to another rollercoaster ride? dissapointed it's not at least over 2,000 by now!!

Oh and 1812 is the total of season ticket sales so far for next year

No surprise really what with the apathetic wakefield public. They know the price of evrything but the value of nowt! Love to bleat but not so keen to put their hand in their pocket.

It is understandable why some haven't renewed yet as they may be thinking "we've heard this all before, what's different this time? Blah blah blah"

I suspect many people are like me and are cash strapped until xmas and after... It will be around 2500 when the season starts I imagine. Which isn't that bad considering the mess this post-season has been. Let's wait and see. You may find people snapping season tickets up even after the season has started (waiting to see what performances are like in 1 or 2 games).

The product is getting better day by day this will encourage the people who are in two minds to get on board,Keep the faith!

When I look at it now (in purely economic terms), I start to question if the season ticket is really worth it if you are someone who is always likely to miss a game or two.

Having missed the discounted early birds, it is now £205 for a Gold. With a silver and pre-purchase (admittedly extra hassle), the total for all games is £227 by my rough calculations. Miss one Cat A game and it is break even; miss two or more (as circumstances, odd kick off times and late changes, etc can easily dictate), and the option of buying as you go becomes the more attractive one.

I could almost argue the case that the value is at either end - pay as you go for the cheapest, or if you want to commit, go platinum (e.g. as a current gold and 1873 member, the £340 isn't much more expensive and you get the shirts, etc thrown in).

Apathetic do me a favour!! What do you expect after what we have seen over decades and over the last 3 years in paticular? Apathy! Apathy to believe people on limited incomes will keep dipping into their pockets when you run a club like a bunch of clueless buffoons.

You don't think out of a population of 80k a 2% take up of season tickets isn't apathy? Yes the club has been mismanaged but there is an underlying reason why this club is a perennial struggler.

Although there is some disappointment with the numbers of S/T's sold, there is still plenty of time before the start of the season and if the club can get some decent press and create some positivity, then the current sales should increase.

Also, the numbers sold should be put into context.

Until the giveaway tickets were offered a couple of seasons ago, our S/T numbers were very poor IIRC less than 1000 ??

So, if we can get somewhere near the 2500 mark, or even push close to 3000, this would be excellent and it would give the club something solid to build on for the future.

All those people that bought the cheap tickets have the opportunity to show that they are loyal Wakefield Trinity supporters and renew their memberships.

We cant force people to come and watch the city's premier sporting team and nor should we, but there is a superb sporting heritage and all of us can spread the word and encourage folk to come down.

Personally, I cant wait for the start of the new season and put all the doom and gloom behind us.

People paying on the day might be a blessing for the club this season.
Personally i think the club so far has done everything right, theres been honesty, theres been digging ourselves out of a hole, theres been restructering, theres been investment in new players and talk of others to come in....
Looking at the squad on paper, is there much difference in this one and last season (half back issue aside) i dont think there is, and its certainly better than some sides we've had.
Like adam i think many people wait for a bit of christmas spends to get their STs so i think come the start of the season if we continue in this vein; we should be in the region of 2500 maybe heading towards 3000.
The interesting thing will be the turn ups, as high ST numbers can mean less match day income.
