Rubbish, been a real stand out this year and it's a real bummer to lose him just as he's fulfilling that early potential. I also feel he's selling himself short and could do better.

Talk of Aydin leaving last night. Also heard Shaw has been in talks with Wigan. Both just rumours but if true seems a worry.

You win some you lose some but Trinity will do just fine with or without him.

I do concur though that he’s sold himself short. HKR is the sort of club where players tend to sink more often than swim. I like Batch so hope he swims but there are other clubs where he’d have done far better.

The thing is we all know that a huge clear out is required. Obviously nobody would have picked Batch but none of us know Pochings vision and sometimes you just can’t fit everyone in.

I think it’s obvious the route we are taking next season. A mix of experience and youth. It a gamble but if it pays off we are laughing, if not then here we go again.

Whatever we can’t complain at Poching doing exactly what we wanted but then having a pop because it’s not the players we would chose.

I’m nervous but frankly I’d be just as nervous if we’d kept him and all the others. Despite our recent revival the current squad has little future and needs drastic surgery.

No he’s going to a club that get bigger gates, not the same thing.

HKR as a team, mid range this season and next. That to me is a move for money not success. I don’t blame him but let’s be honest.

I agree with you Vastly and on Princes points now we are safe or should be some of these players maybe retained. I hope the club looks after these lads we have invested in previous rumours of peanuts being offered if true needs to change. It's pointless investing in these lads if the next stage is to exploit their loyalty. Invest more locally v overseas.
Clear out probably beginning now then Willy can truly put his stamp on the team.

As for Batch he has improved tremendously good luck to the lad never sold himself short for the team. This season has been his best even if as a team it's been poor.
