I totally understand what our board are saying about our finances and our situation. I'm not getting hysterical or personal about John or Michael or even Mark Applegarth. But I thought I saw a very meek and, at times casual acceptance of our performance tonight. I'd usually be there but had a bad back so watched on TV, which was certainly a different view of what is going on. TV shots of Applegarth and Gale, casually having bants...I guess a moment can mislead but some of it wasn't a good look. More of the vacuous generalisms from Applegarth. I don't think a Change of coach would produce miracles....but I do think it's time to do it now after what I've just seen

He clearly is out of his depth. We managed to drop Atoni at last. Proctor is a waste of money and shirt, almost means you are playing with 17. How is this so difficult to see.

I hate being negative. I don't want to add to the downer. It's just, in spite of our limited finances and squad, I think any pro group should be doing a bit better than that. From half back, the ball is slow. We play one up rugby, no depth, dummy runners, angles or lines. Basics. Loads of effort. Players putting incredible effort in considering they look like beating nobody. It's bizarre. I have a distinct feeling a coach who can get some basics going could at least get us a few wins

Come on Luppy don't leave us hanging. Can't be as daft as swopping Corey Hall for Will Dagger (although fair play to Dagger he pulled off some good tackles tonight).

The only bit i disagree with is it was probably time a few weeks ago, the lad just isn't up to it. A good few of us on here tried pointing out the folly of going with a head coach with such little experience of first team coaching at any level but there you go.

It's a pretty poor overall squad but i maintain this isn't the worst set of players we've had in super league (2011 springs to mind) but it is certainly the worst performing. To allow it to continue and watch us meekly throw away our super league place is i'm afraid a dereliction of duty by those in charge of the club and they should be ashamed it's been allowed to get to this.

A simple question to the club.
Howe many games in a season of 27, do we need to lose before making a change to the coaching staff ?
Were almost halfway through the season and 0/12 and quite frankly, despite a decent performance for 60minutes last week and a reasonable showing v Salford, we havent come close to beating anyone.
If the club isn't prepared to make a change, then, after 35 years+, I'm done.

Its really sad to here you say that, but I do understand it totally.
