Since we did a pre match festivities page, how was your day? OK, not a cup final, and a battle for 11th place, so hardly a high stakes game. But for me:

Icing on the cake style tries at the end
Sea of black and white and the crowd in decent voice
Just had my tea and
Bottle of wine in the fridge ready to accompany watching the game again on our new tv a bit later.

So, in the scheme of things..such a perfect day...I'm glad I spent it with you

As much as I enjoyed watching us beat the dobbins, I have to say that my perfect day would include a chocolate fondue, a couple of bottles of champers and 18 year old scandanavian twin sisters

Did you notice how, as the rovers players were waiting to take the drop-out, Cockayne was desperately making sure he didn't look upwards towards the South Stand

. The merest sidewards glimpse our way and an avalanche of abuse would have fell on his head

.

As for the perfect day bit, it would be but I've just started a 12 hour night shift. Still, I can watch it all over again when I rise from the pit tomorrow

Bet he wished the ground would have opened up at that point, but it was a quality comedy play, even though it was eclipsed by the Fox voluntary tackle/feck-up. Can't wait to watch that back.




That's rough. Still, could be a 12 hour nightshift on the back of a derby loss.

I had to go into work straight after the play off loss, not the best of nights as you can well imagine.
