| Painted into a corner, I think. I agreed with putting Heremaia in, but it didn't work, better as interchange hooker. If Holdsworth doesn't recover quickly (which sounds a bit worrying IMO) we're back to Seymour and Horne. This sucks. We also have Seymour under contract for next season too. Do people reckon we're in the market for a 7 for 2014?

| I didn't agree with putting Heremaia at 7, and it's no surprise it didn't work as it never has before. If we're that desperate not to give Seymour a game I'd sooner we went with Nicklas. If Holdsworth is not back next week and Seymour still doesn't play, we might as well let him go home in all honesty.

| Personally, in Holdsworth's absence I would have gone with Seymour in the halves and kept Heremaia at Hooker (with Houghton) where he is strongest.
We lacked a killer instinct near the Warrington line tonight and I believe that Holdsworth would have made a difference (we may not have won but we would have gotten more tries).
The club will be looking for a new quality halfback for next season. Pearson and Gentle both seem to have a lot of ambition and they both know that we need a quality 7. We cannot be reliant upon Holdsworth to do everything for us.

Richard Hornes new contract probably puts to bed any new half backs arriving in 2014. I think the announcement was done on purpose to avoid future speculation and ease pressure on the guys in possession of the shirts. Danny Nicklas and Rich Wilkinson seem like good prospects and should be pushing further in 2014.

| I'd be amazed if Seymour was still with us next season.
I think we'll be in the market for a 7.

| Our No1 priority this season was a number 7
If you include young Cunningham we signed a player in every position - except scrum half
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we messed up big time, not signing young Jacob Miller when
we had the chance.

Was made an offer on the back of our new Captains recommendation but Wests decided they wanted to keep hold.
Scott Prince would have been a tremendous signing.
Also think Seymour is finished on the back of him being scapegoated for the Leeds game.
Don't think his head or his heart can be in it anymore so its time to unload and all guns blazing for a 7 come 2014.
Horne and Holdsworth combo will hopefully get us through the season but I would doubt they'll be pulling up many trees.

| heremaia was poor last night and we lost his effectiveness at dummy half at the end of that 1st half. Seymour should have played IMO

Correct, the Monaghan/Higham combo was effective for them last night.
We need to utliise Danny and Azza similarly.

We spent hardly any time near the Warrington line. Difficult to demonstrate a killer instinct under those circumstances.
While I think Holdsworth would have helped last night it wasn't a lack of creativity that was our major problem.
