With St Helens Looking favorite to sign Mose Masoa i'd love to know if we were in for him as well?

I'm no expert on NRL but from what I have seen the guy is an Animal and just the sort of player we need to beef up our forwards.

With O'Meley, Tickle, Galea and Briscoe leaving I'd presume we have a lot of money to try and attract 2 Big Forwards for 2014?!

Masoe is a risky signing for any club. In his last few games he's showed a bit more passion and ergency that's been missing from his game but that could be because he's playing in a very disciplined enviroment.

carvell and Thompson are both signed

Between Carvell and Lynch we'll have the oldest front row in the country. I think thats an awful signing if true. Best days are well past him.

Whilst I agree on Carvell not being the best signing I don't think that 'old' is necessarily bad for a prop. I'd still take Jamie Peacock on a one year deal everyday of the week!

I'm afraid we have limited options out there in the prop department and a returning Gaz might be as good as it gets.
Still thought he looked quite impressive in our recent HJ visit.
The best of their lot when he was on the island. (an expro-ism seeing as we all miss him).

Id be more worried about replacing Lynch who seems to be off his game this season which has maybe been one season too far

Carvell + Lynch + Houghton = 91

Leuluai + Peacock + Burrow = 102

They're older with every position.

Keep hearing the James Graham rumour but I just cant see how it could be true.

I can't, but I prefer it to the Carvell rumour. I trust PG's judgement, but he's not a player I'd be looking to sign.

If we could get 20 games out of him it would be a decent signing. Its a rather large IF though.
