well the england game at huddersfield is heading for a sellout so the focus should soon turn to the game at the KC which should prove just as entertaining as the ireland one if not more so. having attended the last fiji game in leeds i can confirm its worth it just to hear the stadium announcer struggle with the fiji players names

I haven't bought tickets yet but I plan on going to this game. So far the only tickets that I've ordered are for the Final at Old Trafford but I'll be trying to go to a few games.

Don't watch much NRL, but according to my mate there's apparently this amazing Fijian winger for Wests Tigers called "Korobete" (Not sure about spelling).

They have got some class players though have Fiji!

It does seem strange how we're struggling to shift the tickets for this game yet at Huddersfield they are flying out the door for a game against lesser opposition.

I appreciate the tickets are more expensive (however you can still get 50% off tickets by using the 50days promo code online) and that Hull as 2 other games at Craven Park...but I fear we will be overlooked for England games in the future if this doesn't sell well.

Couldn't give a monkeys about International rugby nowadays, partly because it is pretty much a 2 horse race at best for all the tournaments and partly because players are chopping and changing international sides to suit them.
So rather than waste money on a ticket to one game in the hope it is competitive and entertaining, I find it is much better to subscribe to Premier Sports for the duration of the tournament.if i wish

The only way to prove that this city has an appetite for International RL, and ensure the KC stages England games in the future, is for the RL fans of Hull to back the WC.

It's a shame that some people don't seem to care about Internationals, but that's up to them. Personally, I'd much rather spend my money watching World Class players playing in my home city, or players proudly giving everything they've got playing for their country, than some of the wasters currently running around in SL.

If some would rather spend money watching say Cameron Phelps & Ben Cross for Widnes vs Hull in SL , than Petero Civoniceva & Akuila Uate line up against players like Sam Burgess & James Graham at the WORLD CUP, I think they need their heads checking. Just a personal opinion.

The fact you pick out 2 Fiji players who have played for Australia (Uate in 2011-12 and Petero in 2011) shows exactly what is wrong with the international game for me personally.

So those players shouldn't play for Fiji and we have a week world cup?

We need an international game to grow.

In that case then why not just chuck the all the best players in the world in a hat and have each national coach pull names out of a hat. Or give the last world cups wooden spoonist the first pick.
