I'd love us to tie eseh up on a 4 or 5 year deal but can see why he would want a crack at breaking into the wigan team
Wigan would be crazy to let him go at this point. He had a few loan spells last year without really impressing, now it looks like he's really building something. Byrne and Hill are both gone with not a lot of cap space left.
Eseh and an academy front rower will likely replace them in the squad and Id hope that we're able to bring in a high quality second rower to replace Farrell.
it's not really a case of wigan letting him go though. If he feels he has a future at wigan he can go there and play when a couple of others are injured and see what happens or could opt to sign for us from 2027 on and see if that forces the issue with wigan. He'd likely be in the 17 most weeks here and either playing reserves or shipped out on dual reg at wigan
