Nice bit of irony! But tbh they are 3 very good dials that could do really well for them!'"
Its total BullSh!£, I hate dual registration with a passion, We are not here as teams for SL to lend us players for game time, It is not a true reflection of a club and the player recruitment that has been done, Especially in this case, Barrow Struggleing with Suspension and injuries, 6 match ban for stamping on someones head maybe he should be held accountable by the club struggleing already. rather than calling round SL clubs looking for help. 3 players from one team going straight in against fev. Had it been a lower division team i am sure they wouldn't have bothered.
ARghhhhhhh...........Rant over.
( i am aware fax have fairbank from Hudds, cracking player but either season long loan or not wanting IMO )

| Dual-reg, love it or hate it, it's each to their own. It's to Schofield's prerogative whether it will benefit Barrow. I think in theory it is a good idea, to be honest, though it needs fine-tuning. It didn't work too well for Widnes last season though.
I think there should be something like a two-week callback clause. IE, if Liam Farrell plays for Widnes on 1st March, he is ineligible for Wigan until the weekend of fixtures of 14th March and can be selected by Widnes on the 7th March.

| possibly a waste of 3 of the clubs dr spaces. The dual regs in the past have usually been 1st team starters on the fringes. In our case we've usually pulled a good bit of business of with the likes of farrell/davies. Mcnally won't pose too much trouble after having a very poor season last year. Hope i'm proven right

| Dual Reg is only their to keep Champ clubs down, it's a stick to beat the clubs with, "You can't do without extra players from SL clubs". We will never have P&R back while this rule is around.

I don't think that's the only reason its around, but I do think it is too heavily weighted towards the SL clubs and also is a step towards the frankly offensive idea of feeder teams. It's like the RFL are trying to work up to the idea.
You've got a good relationship with club X...formalise it.

spot on with that. SL wants a closed shop so the money can be kept to themselves. even wanting less teams in SL now.

| In thoery it could benefit everbody, but I think it is aimed more at some of the 'smaller' teams in the competition...
The Championship or Championship 1 club, who may otherwise struggle to maintain a full squad, now have a real possibility of making up the numbers with some potential quality.
The obvious benefit to the SL club is that they can loan out their better players to the lower league club without the threat of being unable to recall them for a month . This gives them valuable game time in a competitive league.
The player gets an opportunity to play regularly and showcase their ability.
The problems arise when the championship club DR a player who is likely to be whisked back to the SL club whenever there is an injury to one of their players.
The thing to remember is that the club does not have to take the player on a DR... there are no quotas that need to be fulfilled. They still have the option of seeking players on loan if they prefer that arrangement, but the fact that a few clubs have again opted for DR's would indicate that they see an advantage to this system.
It's still funny to see a complete about-face from the Barrow lot who right now should be hanging the person responsible for arranging these moves from the town hall!!... based on their opinions of this system last year.
