7 of the top 20 worst offenders for missed tackles! And Sandy moans about refs. Get a grip man.

You only need to look at the amounts we have conceded each match this season to see where the problem is, conceded over 30 points in more then half our games.

It took Rovers 12 games to pass 7 points!

I had us down for 8points going into easter, wasnt far off. Bearing in mind everyone thinks were playing below par im fairly confident we can turn this around and turn the 2nd half of the season well in our favour.

I think people are dissapointed bacause in a couple of games we have thrown away winning leads of over 10 points, we could easily have been on 11 points and in 6th place if we had closed those games out.

Aye, if we could tackle we'd be ace!

Sorry to go O/T slightly - but I looked at some other stats, and Sam Tomkins is really ripping it up this year.

Con Mika has been disappointing in all areas recently.
Needs to up his game IMO.

24 missed tackles in his 8 games so far, and he's being spelled too.
I know stats aren't everything and it's a bit harsh comparing him to Newton, but he only missed 22 tackles last year and was an 80mins larker most of the time.

Every player should up their game maybe its all the new stuff our new coach is trying I do believe we will get it right starting Friday at the kc i hope

Missed tackles cost points. Yes he makes a lot, but if he makes 30 and misses the one that costs us a game winning try.. Obviously everybody misses tackles, but i dont think that making more gives you more of a right to miss them than anyone else. If he's missing them because of fatigue due to the defence he is being asked to do then the coach is partly to blame as well as he shouldnt be playing the full 80 as what is effectively a defensive workhorse if he is missing a lot of tackles. Either give him a break, or give someone else his defensive role for a period of the game to even it up
