The decision that lead to the try that made it 24 16 was a joke if that's the rules then they need sorting out

It is more strange when in a previous game they decided to play by the 'old' rules.

Briscoe should have been penalised for pushing McDonnell in the back, which forced him to touch the ball with his knee

TBH that thought entered my head as well.
Shannon had applied the brakes until briscoe barged into the back of him.

I don't understand it, even if McDonnell was alone and touched it, he was out of the field of play so how could he have carried it dead?
Still let's not get caught up in such minor incidents!

Because until the ball hits the floor it is active and if it hits the defensive player even if he is dead himself then he is classed as touching it last.

So how come the warrington player in the game before caught the ball over the dead ball line and it was a restart on half way as the ball was deemed over out on the full,when it hadnt touched the ground? Totaly stupid,confusing rule which i bet will be scrapped next season

It's a different rule from a restart than from open play, that's why the two decisions were given (correctly) but I agree the rule from open play needs changing nack to the previous ruling.
