Heard a rumour yesterday at the ground Cox and Green agreed to sign with St Helens for them next year anyone else heard this thought it a bit early only 6 games gone and players are looking at moving next season already. I thought they could not be tapped up until next month, or am I being stupid that in thinking that agents stick to that rule?

The Cox rumour has been doing the rounds for a couple of weeks now. James Green is a new one though. I understand Cox's agent advised him to turn down all approaches from Rovers. We need James Green tying up on a 4 year (minimum) deal as soon as possible. I'm not sold on Cox being worth that just yet.

Cox has turned down 3 offers from us and all on his agents say so. And his girlfriend is from St Helens but lives at Newport FOR NOW!!!!

About time he got a mind of his own then.
Seriously, what's the point of the club spending thousands of pound bringing these players through the youth set up if at the end of the day these agents,( parasites by name and by nature imo) call the shots.
I realise that players have a living to make but a little loyalty wouldn't go amiss if the contract offer from the home club is a good one.
I can also understand why Neil Hudgell and other club chairmen have such low regards for these agents who think of no one but themselves.  |

a few of the guys at work(kr fans) said they had also heard lovegrove , Hall are both getting released at the end of the season (Hall maybe sooner and lovegrove due to being a bad influence at the club) , also Costigan wants to go home as his wife cant settle !!! how true who knows |

I also heard yesterday, the rumour about Costigan going back home due to the reasons you have stated above, I think there may be some truth in that particular one. |

If Rhys Lovegrove leaves Rovers it's knack all to do with him being a bad influence and all to do with idiots allowing it to happen. |
