North Derbyshire Chargers are delighted to announce that Jack Howieson has agreed to take on the role of Head Coach for the Open Age team for the 2014 season.
Jack comes with a wealth of experience having played 275 games for the Sheffield Eagles including leading them to their Championship Grand Final victory in 2012. Jack also has international experience with the Scotland team including appearances in the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.
Ged Connolly-Thompson, Chargers Chairman, said: “We are delighted that Jack has agreed to become Open Age Head Coach. This is a clear indication of the commitment of the club to the development of the Senior team and we hope this will be a long relationship as we continue to build the club in the North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire areas.”

Training starts tonight at Chesterfield Panthers RUFC for anyone in Derbyshire / South Sheffield who wants to play a bit of rugby league this summer.
