Great support from Fax tonight, shame the players did not give us all what we deserved a full 80 minutes, yer we got 60 but yet again turned it off when we needed them to really dig in.

How did we manage to lose to a club with no fans but seem to be more professional than Halifax RLFC.

Halifax RLFC Board - said it before get your selves down to Sheffield and see how they manage to do things, cos we need to learn from them.

I don't think we need to have a go at the board things have changed and improved massively at board level.

I agree. Mike Riley and the rest of the board have done a fantastic job of turning this club around
However i do think they have a big problem on their hands with MC. Can we afford to sack him after he got a new 2 year contract? Perhaps if we all feel so strongly we as fans could donate towards the cost. I know i and 7 lads i go with would try to help out.

Well whatever you all think its not time to sack him, too clear to the play offs unfortunately and how do we genuinely know he is the problem and not something else? We don't.

We can't go sacking a coach ever time we lose 4 games, i know its terrible but we need consistency if we are even going to be considered for super league.

I for one have enjoyed the last few years since MH and MC joined the club more than any i can remember

I work in Derbyshire so I decided I would work late and go, so my wife came down to MeadowHELL on the bus £5.70. As I met her at MeadowHELL we had a meal £29.50 then a little bit of shopping (wont include this in the calculation) then down to Don Valley, paying £28.00 for the entry fee. I then bought a couple of tea's and a bottle of coke over the evening £3.50.

Total spend for the evening £66.70 to watch ants run around a field (by heck there a long way away) and to watch a team without spirit and totally lacking in any confidence and determination.

To be fair though, you could knock £30 off that question as that's nowt to do with the rugby. You could have picked up a sandwich or brought one from home. I get your point, and I'd asked myself the same question but I suppose the entertainment is far more than two hours as we are all going to spend all day today talking about it at work and in the pub

Your absolutely right, and I could have convinced my wife to stay at home, which means I could have probably kept my costs down to £20.00. But that still would have been poor value for money.

That said, I have been to nearly every game in the last 20 years, good and bad and no matter how much I moan I will be at Batley next Thursday, hoping that this poor performance has come to an end.

I just wanted a moan and to point out that DON VALLEY is not a good venue to watch rugby league
