Just had a look on there fans forum.

i know we should just be looking forward to the final and these sorts of threads are unnessasery to say the lease, i decided to post anyway, as i feel what some are saying on attendances is deluded.

Now Fev have had a worse average than us all season despite finishing top in the regular season.

so why do some of there fans believe that they can some how make up thew amount of fans we get to what we can get, then take more glory hunters than we can.

what staggers me is some of them are so very very serious about it.

also cant wait for Sunday, nerves kicking already

Here goes then - for the umpteenth time.

Look at Fev's history. Go back to the old days - look at more recent days.
Fev have always had mediocre crowds until the big game. - for actual evidence I've posted the stats elsewhere on this board.
Fev have always turned out in their thousands for the big game. Look at the cas game last time they were in our league - the rest of the season we'd average about 1300 a game. Played cas we got 6300!!
Look at the challenge cup runs a few years ago. League ave - 2300 - cup game v widnes 9k or something daft like that!

So me owd cock-a-doodle do - that's why I (at least) think that!. The first 2500 tickets went within a day and we're currently (well up to last night- the numbers continue to come in) selling out bus number 30!!!!

I wish we could get some of these every week - but as a regular attender at Post office road - it's always been this way!

experience of watching fev since 1973 leads me to believe there will be more than double our normal best gate! It was ever thus!!!

We're making the journey over my car, just hoping parking isn't such a problem this year as we're planning on going much earlier.

There is a large carpark just past the ground, a little further down the road past the Lord Rodney pub. Think it's £2.00 parking all day.

I hate it when some fans for whatever team use a Grand Final as a basis of how many fans they've got.

At the end of the day, Fev's average is 2,000 ours is 2,350 and we're all going to go with our mates etc and that's all that matters. If Fev took 1,000 more than us, doesn't mean they have 'better' supporters or more fans,just means some more locals came with them as day-trippers than us.

I'm reminded of last year's conference final where 35,000 Oxford fans turned up and suddenly they were going 'WE have 35,00 fans' yet 1st day back in the football league there were still plenty of empty seats in a 11,000 capacity crowd.

It means nothing and is no relation to the quality of the clubs or the individuals support, I wouldn't let it get to you.

So your start by saying you hate it then finish by saying don't let it get to you.

Your club is the one making all the announcements about how many tickets it sold and how big the quews have been.

Aye, I wouldn't let it get to me in that i'm not going to argue the toss over who brings more fans. I still hate 'the scenario'.

P.S, what the club I support says has no reflection on me as an individual...

They could say 'the lying Fev gits haven't sold any tickets and are all cr@p fans and smell'...doesn't therefore by right mean I hold the same opinion.
