which absentee will dispupt the teams more?

i know we have been without Ross for a while now, but on his game i think hes our best back rower.

As for Ellis, he is quality, and is the only hooker (for me) in this league close to Penky (maybe even better), he is bound to be a massive loss for Fev until the season end!

Fevs apparent 'over confidence' could well be their downfall.

If We start well and DEFEND properly we are more than capable of bringing home the silverware. All the Fax players have another 30% to give in a game like this, which could prove the difference.

I see plenty of confidence - can you point out where anyone is being 'over confident. We're top of the league - again. SHOULD go on and win the league, we are in the 23's final, the NRC final, champs of europe (ok I know that's a daft one but stick with me), we beat cas and gave wiggin a game, we got to the 9's final beating SL teams along the way and we've lost only 5 league games in almost 3 years. Now then me owd cockle-doodle-do, can you explain why I shouldn't be permitted a little confidence given those stats?

Daryl and team will run through what they have to and work to a game plan to beat fax. I don't expect anything else.

I think Ellis will be a bigger loss to them than Divorty is to us. Having watched Ellis in the game down the Shay this season, he really got their pack on the front foot and IMO was the most dangerous player on the night on either team, however they have quality all over the park so I'm sure they will compensate and DP will plan their game to who they have available. The key for me is the Fax pack have to get us on the front foot so Penky can cause problems, if not he goes from one of our most creative players to just the guy passing from acting half. If the pack stand up I can see this being a very good game, otherwise it will be a Fev win for me.

I, personally, think that Manning is as good as Divorty. But, like Fev, we'll have to play with what we've got got and try and match our opponents all over the field. However, will will have to match their line speed and work on marker tackling. Wrenchy was the best at marker defence I've seen for years and we haven't found someone as accomplished since his retirement. TBH, at times it is non-existent. One thing I'm sure we all will agree on is that it's going to be cracking final! Hoping to catch up with an old Fev mate, Chris Taylor, for a beer and some banter before the game as well.

It's not Ellis I'd have been worried about. For me we need to stop Andy Kain..the lad is on fire at the moment. Surely he's got to have a bad game soon...please let that be Sunday!
