I reckon it'd be a flat deduction of 3 points - the result's irrelevant.

Very interesting to see what the RFL will do if proven,not forgetting we were thrown out of the Challenge Cup,i would think points deduction would be appropriate

Wishfull thinking but none of them play in Bue and White and start with H and end in X so no punishment there other than a fine and a rap on the knuckles.

Be interesting to see if Sam Wood (Bradford) plays on Sunday as I am sure the RFL will not have completed their investigation by then.

It does make you think that the RFL should actively manage this before it happens by submitting a list of eligible players to the match officials to check against before the ko of any game?

B3:17:1 Dual Registered Players who have a Salary Cap Value of £20,000 or more i.e. those who receive a category A, B, C or D classification, must have played in at least three League or League Cup fixtures for the Championships club that season before the end of season registration deadline which applies in that Competition in order to play in games which fall after that deadline whether they be regular season or Play Off games.

This doesn't reflect well on Rugby League and to minimise the chance of it happening and the uncertainty it brings at an important stage of the season the RFL should have sent a list to all the dual reg clubs outlining who was eligible from the deadline.

I hope Batley don't lose any points, would hate a decent club to get relegated on a technicality.

Don't worry about Doncaster they are not good enough to clinch second.

Whilst the investigation is ongoing, I would assume that the players will not be allowed to play future games to avoid making the issue worse. If found they were eligible, I would be pretty annoyed if it were my club especially if they lost and were relegated.
