....the worst defeat/display since Cawoods?

I said after the game that is was the worst performance I can remember at the Shay for quite a while. Certainly up there with the Dewsbury play off game a few years back for me.

This afternoon proved to me how valuable Salty is to us either on the wing or at full back for his decision making. Errors on our try line (although nobody means to make mistakes) are unacceptable and cost us the game Today unfortunately.

I mean this with all due respect but that is a massive over reaction/tonuge in cheek comment when you consider some of the dross we've seen in the last 25 years or so.

Fully agree, you have to be honest enough to call it as it is.
I said the same long before the final whistle blew, regardless of the result for long periods it was headless chicken, what the hell is going on Rugby League, on the entertainment and enjoyment scale about 3 out of 10.

There are fewer clubs now = fewer players feeding thru = drop off in quality.
This is the worst super league in memory and the quality show right down to amateur level.
Repeated daft experiments, the wholesale insistence on an expansion agenda etc etc coupled with union seemingly able to pick off any player they wish now, means clubs like ours have precious little resource to recruit.
It's not getting any better anytime soon.

The total number of clubs has remained fairly constant over the years.

Now wondering how much next weeks plans will have been disrupted by yesterday's shocker?

Don't be daft although I think that was our worst defeat since Hunslet did us at the Shay in the NRC when we did like yesterday had it won and lost again in the last few minutes!
It was bad because we had two great wins against Bradford and Fev and they have gone to waste, damn.
The lads have a big job on their hands now making up for this, I am sure they will as others have said we have to beat Batley at their place and a repeat win against Fev at Blackpool!

Totally agree with this. I think the extra game against Fev is more important than ever. Fev have a game in hand and are above us in the league. We need to beat Fev 3 times to have a chance of a top 4 spot. Not an easy task.
